Two Sisters

What a treat for me, I got to photograph two sisters who were fabulous models! Their beautiful home offered so many great photographic opportunities I literally spent almost 2 hours snapping photos.

Homecoming

I can't relay how much fun this was for me to shoot. My co-worker has the most wonderful children and asked me to take photographs of her daughter before homecoming. I was excited to have another practice opportunity, but I was even more excited to be a part of the event and to watch through a parents eyes what it is like to see your children preparing for one of highschools biggest event.

Jake and the Giant Ball

I noticed today that my entire backyard is open shade around 7:00pm. I'll have to remember that for future photos. In the mean time, Jake was running around with his underwear on backwards playing with a giant ball...perfect time to grab my camera :)

Another Fun Shoot

I finally was able to make some time to photograph Cooper for his 6-month pictures; only about 4 months late :) Amie really wanted a picture with the kids feet and I think I really nailed that one. The rest were playing around with the various props they had laying around the house. I really enjoyed practicing some backlit shots with the oldest girl, Jamie, and I don't think I'm bothered at all by the blown windows. Hmmmm, I think I'm getting braver at this.

Two Weeks

Welcome, Luke Garrett Schubring! My little boy has finally arrived and I attempted my first ever newborn photos. Unfortunately as much as this little guy sleeps, he refused to sleep for the camera. I did what I could and these were my favorites. I can't decide if I like the color or the b/w conversion best.
